Kush Arora

Kush Arora has been sculpting sound in San Francisco and beyond for the past decade. He has branded his own signature imprint on bass driven music. All shades of Dub, Garage,Dancehall, and Indo-Caribbean influences merge into the unique genre known worldwide as Dread Bass. Intelligent yet driving, cultural and simultaneously resistant, the tunes walk the balance between the club and the studio, keeping motion in mind. With these futuristic stylings, Kush wears many hats all rooted in Dub and Electronica. These influences can be heard throughout his diverse,10-record discography.
Active in SF, Kush is a member of Surya Dub which was awarded Best Club Night by SF Weekly for two consecutive years (2007-08) and has been at the center of the West Coast Dread Bass, Dubstep, and Electronica movement. In turn his tracks have been remixed by the likes of Rogue State, Eskmo, and England’s Steakhouse Crew. His work has caught attention of Pitchfork Mag, who referred to him as a “laptop musician extraodinaire”, BBC 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs dubbed his Brooklyn To SF release “a beautiful piece of work”.

CacheFlowe (A/V set)

Mashing up idm, dubstep, hip hop, experimental, funk, drum and bass, jazz, techno and more, CacheFlowe creates genre-skewing electronic music that's received acclaim from local and international press. Producing with a computer since 1996, he's honed an original style that's defined by stuttery, complex breakbeats, deep analog basslines, techno-flavored synths, organic instrumentation and contorted samples.

Working on the same laptop performance since early 2004, CacheFlowe's live show is a fast-paced smorgasbord of chopped breakbeats and analog synths on 8 channels of audio. He bobs and weaves through an array of electronic genres and tempos, using nothing but sounds and loops from his own productions. Having recently added original audio-reactive visual projections to the live act, he quickly received the "Best Audio/Visual Performer" award from Denver's esteemed Westword magazine.

Appearing on official record label releases alongside the likes of Daedelus, Starkey, Ladytron, Ulrich Schnauss, Mochipet, Twine, Machinedrum, ISAN, Submerged, Fog, and sharing the stage with Amon Tobin, edIT, Machinedrum, Dizzee Rascal, Mochipet, Jeff Parker (Tortoise), DJ Olive (MMW, Sonic Youth), Nels Cline (Wilco) and countless local talents, CacheFlowe continues to freak the beat in new and exciting ways.
