Music Ecology is proud to present another week of all original EDM, this week from:
Hidden in Southern Connecticut, a buzz is quietly growing around musician/producer FLOTE's glitched out yet natural brand of electronic hip hop. FLOTE (AKA Dome Wrecka) has true artistic vision and cuts no corners, crafting synths and meticulously polishing every sound making sure nothing is overloo...ked or compromised. Instead of focusing on a single emotion, a FLOTE production usually melts many contradicting emotions into one, at times creating an overwhelming state of euphoria that is truly rewarding for the listener.
Subtle Skies (http://www.myspace.com/subtleskiesmusic)
Subtle Skies is an electronic, IDM, experimental band formed in New Jersey. The band begun as a solo project created by Daniel Puzak on production, guitar, and synthesizers. The Subtle Skies live band was then formed, which now includes Cory Metrick on drums. Their music blends elements of electronica with organic tones and warm sounds, as well as ambient melodies and hooks. The sole inspirat...ion of Subtle Skies is based on creativity, and bringing out the energy from with in it.
This week we'll also be celebrating the release of "Getting Deep" from Ecology residents Blue Boy Productions
BBP is an audiovisual project specializing in intense bass heavy dance music that spans the genres of EDM, blending live instruments with samples and original productions in a way that allows for real improvisation and unrehearsed moments of creativity and spontaneity.
